Unrealistic Expectations....Vaser Lipo

Some clients come to Selston for consultation regarding Vaser Lipo and have very unrealistic expectations, we can only work with what we have and when the canvas is very tarnished we cannot expect to end up with a Monet!

This client had a large tummy, flanks and back fat. Notice how lax the skin is too! This is a clear case for a tummy tuck as once the fat is removed, what is going to happen to all that skin?  Vaser offers at least 33% skin tightening and often delivers much more!

So what happens next? We make it clear what we can expect to achieve, and in this case explained her best option would be a tummy tuck with liposuction as well.

This lady did not want to go down the surgery route and wanted to take her chances with Vaser Lipo. It was explained that she could end up with a lot of loose skin but she elected to proceed.

Here are her before and afters, and although she is half the woman she was, she was not happy with her result. She chose to go to another clinic for further lipo and we are very confident that because more fat was removed she will have significant, unsightly loose skin.

Vaser Lipo Abdo Results....4 Months Later

This lady came back for a review at 4 months. Initially she had very lax skin and she was counselled extensively about what could be achieved and what she expected.

With all the information given she decided to go with Vaser Lipo as she felt any improvement would be better than none!

Vaser Lipo...Front of Thighs

This returning client had already had Vaser Lipo on her outer thighs and came back to have the front of thighs treated. She really disliked the prominent curve from the top of her leg and and the way that tight jeans emphasised it!

Vaser Lipo Inner Thighs and Knees

At Selston, we like to show the tricky cases as well as the easy cases, not everyone has a reasonable canvas to start with.

This lady in her late fifties wanted her inner thighs and knees trimming down.
She appreciated her legs were very large and wanted to reduce the constant rubbing of her inner thighs and to be able to wear a skirt which was the only reason stopping her.

Her expectations were realistic, she was counselled extensively re;

1 Skin tightening..at most 33%..however we wil use Vaser Hi Def techniques to improve this.

2 We will create a straight line appearance of the inner leg from inner knee to inner upper thigh.

3 She was happy with her outer thighs and the rest of her legs, she just wanted to improve the inners.

The procedure required 2.5 litres of anaesthetic and took two and a half hours.
Her results were satisfactory and she was happy.

Vaser Lipo v Smartlipo......Results

This young lady from London came to see us, unhappy with her tummy area. She had smartlipo a few years ago at another clinic and couldnt see an inch of difference.

Having spent money previously, she was concerned Vaser Lipo wouldnt work for her either! We addressed her concerns and told her she would get an excellent result so she happily went ahead!

South Africa and Vaser Lipo

Dr Bassi and myself headed off to South Africa to see how Vaser Lipo was progressing and make comparisons. We were secretly pleased to note that our results were comparable if not better!

We started off in Cape town where the views were achingly beautiful, and after mornings of Liposuction, spent a little time sightseeing and tasting local wines!!

Then off to Johannesburg and the Kruger for a whistlestop safari! What an amazing thrill to see the animals in their own natural habitat, again with breathtaking views.

Certainly a trip to remember!
