Beautiful eyes!

This procedure allows you to wake up without panda eyes ever again, whilst still having your eyes looking enhanced and beautiful.

Like with all semi permanent make up , an anesthetic is applied to the area, a drawing and colour discussion takes place so you feel completly comfortable with the overall outcome.

There tends to be two main types of procedure, the eyelash enhancement and the eyeliner. The eyelash enhancement is the application of pigment throughtout the lashes only, allowing you lashes to look enhanced.

The eyeliner is simply adding onto the eyelash enhancement and taking the pigment onto the actual eyelid to enhance the shape of the eye even further. Again the amount of area needed for treatment will be decided with discussion to what feels natural to you.

Call now for a consultation or even for a chat about any procedure you feel interested in or have any questions about.

Insist on Vaser not Laser!

It has recently been brought to the attention of the Vaser community that certain cosmetic clinics have given clients Laser lipo not Vaser lipo! These unfortunate people were under the impression they were recieving Vaser Lipo!

There is a world of difference between Vaser Lipo and Laser Lipo. Vaser removes more fat and costs around £2000. It is ultrasound based, so during the procedure you will hear a humming noise in your ears as the ultrasound probe emulsifies the fat cells.

You do not need to wear goggles during Vaserliposuction but this is mandatory for laser Lipo.

In my opinion, check out the practitioner that is performing your procedure. Make sure what you are signing up for..... is what you will be recieving, i.e, check out the consent form, this is a legal document.

You need to have complete trust in the clinic you are using and it would be totally unethical to recieve Laser treatment instead of Vaser!

Laser treatment for facial veins

Facial veins (Spider veins) are formed by an increase in blood pressure. The body releases the pressure by forcing blood into veins on the surface of the skin. In the skin condition known as rosacea the cheeks and nose flush easily and over time turn permanently red.

This problem can also be caused by family predisposition, normal ageing process and over exposure to the sun.

While spider veins and flushed skin are not a major medical problem, most sufferers are keen to get rid of them as they have an unsightly appearance that can affect the confidence of sufferers greatly.

Facial vein removal works by using a laser to deliver precise dosages of energy to each vein. By carefully targeting the individual areas, there is minimal risk to the surrounding skin.

The laser is a precision instrument that delivers the energy through a special hand piece directly to the targeted vein. The tissues of the vein absorb the energy causing it to die off.

Two or three treatments may be needed, but most veins will disappear immediately, giving outstanding results!

Hair Removal for blonde hair.

The most popular make of treatment at our clinic is Laser Hair Removal, this is for dark and brown hair.

However laser is not suitable for fluffy and fine hair, which is normally, white, blonde or grey. We have find numurous clients asking for treatments for this as they do not want to wax........!

We are now using Alkaline Hair Wash which is used for fine downy hair . This is formulated as a deep action hair remover. This treatment works by dissolving part of the underlying hair follicle beneath the skin. This releases hair from the hair follicle giving smooth, hair free skin immediately after treatment. Alkaline Hair Wash does not stimulate dormant hair follicles as waxing sometimes does.

In our experience up to 6 treatments are needed for this.

Now blonde people can have the benefits of hair removal too!

Lucious legs for Summer......

Spider veins are like varicose veins but smaller. They begin as tiny capillaries and appear as blue or red squiggles. They are small red, blue or purple veins that often appear on the surface of the thighs, calves and ankles.

It's estimated that at least one third of the adult female population is troubled with thread veins on the legs. People often seek treatment for spider veins because of cosmetic concern, not being able to wear short skirts or shorts in the warm months.

These veins are more distinct in fair skinned people, and more common in females. The thread veins may appear from nowhere and they have no symptoms.

Lasers are used to treat spider veins. During laser treatment intense light is directed to the veins, eliminating them permanently. Lasers are especially suited to treat small spider veins, sessions can take 15 to 30 mins and may only need one or two sessions.

Dr Christan Jessen's FUE Hair Transplant looks great!

Dr Christian Jessen admitted a few months ago he had a FUE hair transplant....I must admit he is a good looking man and the the hair accentuates his good looks and gives him a presence.

I and many others would probably have a different opinion of him if he was thinning.

It was a pleasant surprise for us, when a client came to our clinic for a FUE hair transplant consultation, as we always ask how they found us. We were told he had contacted Christian Jessen and he advised him to come to our clinic!

Nice vote of confidence for our hair transplant surgeon, Dr Raghu Reddy.

Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe has Vaser

The media have been buzzing over the Vaser Liposuction procedure had by Jennifer Metcalfe.

She had the procedure performed by Dr Kam Singh of Beau Aesthetica clinic a few weeks ago and was apparently back at work modelling within 2 weeks!

Dr Singh is one of the eminent Vaser practitioners in the UK, so how nice it is for us to say that Dr Bassi last week performed Vaser Mid Def on Dr Singh at Selston Cosmetic Clinic. I assisted and both of them chatted away throughout the procedure, swapping tips and ideas.......as you are aware it is all done under local anaesthetic so you are wide awake!

It was a really enjoyable procedure, and I felt Dr Bassi was complimented by the fact that out of all the Vaser practitioners, Dr Singh chose him!

Dr Singh has given us permission to use his before photos and the after photos will be added in due course.

Dr Singh all marked up and ready to go!

How to find the right Doctor for your procedure.

Recently my friend has been contemplating a cosmetic procedure, she came to me to ask advise on how to start the research process. I have little knowledge of breast augmentation surgeons, but was able to give her some sensible advise.

This led me to think about Vaser Liposuction, and how our clients find us. People initially start researching Liposuction on search engines, come to laser lipo and then eventually find Vaser lipo.

There are now numerous clincs offering this procedure...which is great for the client as I believe in choice and options, but as told my friend, do your research!

Price isnt everything, dont go for the cheapest, buy cheap, buy twice!!
Check how many procedures they have performed, and more importantly ask to see results....real before and after pictures, not generic pictures.

Seek advise or look up forums, these can be very helpful. Just remember every Dr will have positive and negative comments.....but weigh up the balance...no physician is god!

Have a consultation, I think you get a feel if the right person is sat in front of you.
Do not be fooled by slick advertising on the websites, everybody feels they are the best, sadly this is not always the case. A lot of sites ''over promise and under achieve''.

My friend has found a surgeon she is 100% happy, I hope you find yours.

Humbly yours

How far will you travel for Vaser Lipo?

How far would you travel for a Vaser lipo procedure? 10 miles? 20 miles? 50 miles?. Well we thought we had seen it all when somebody flew in from Oman, then Brunei which is just a short flight from Hong Kong!

Imagine our jaws dropped when I filled out the forms of a recent client when the address stated Brisbane, Australia! This lady had flown 23 hours to have her Vaser Mid Def!

We had originally booked by telephone and exchanged numerous emails with photo's so were completely surprised when this lady arrived at the clinic and said she had flown in a few days ago from Australia.

We shall see if anyone can beat that one!

After a consultation you will receive the treatment that best suits you and then a re-touch 6 weeks later. A following retouch in approximately 1 years time will see your colour freshen up.
