Enhance Your Look With Semi-Permanent Make-up - Nottingham, Derby, Mansfield & Chesterfield

People choose to have applications of semi-permanent make-up for a variety of reasons. Whether it's because of limited time in the mornings or perhaps you'd rather spend the extra minutes in bed, then semi-permanent make-up could be the treatment for you. For some people it's about saving time and taking away the hassle of applying make-up every morning, maybe they want to change or enhance their natural features, but others find it the ideal choice if they have poor eyesight, have medical conditions such as alopecia or suffer with neurological weakness or tremors, in fact anyone who finds it difficult applying make-up evenly every day will benefit hugely by having semi-permanent make-up.

Some of the benefits of semi-permanent makeup:
  • It saves time
  • Improves the look of sparse, fair-haired or poorly shaped eyebrows
  • Helps those suffering with alopecia, or hair loss through medical problems
  • Gives you back lost shape and definition
  • Helps to achieve symmetrical eyebrows
  • It's ideal for those who are sensitive to the ingredients in make-up
  • People who suffer from poor eyesight or shaky hands
  • Stays on the face at the gym or the swimming pool
  • Balances facial features that are unsymmetrical or uneven
  • Skilfully designed treatment tailored to suit each persons needs
Semi-permanent make-up is safe and hygienic. Topical anaesthetic cream gets applied to deal with any minor discomfort, and then it's applied quickly and easily and is almost pain-free. For the first few days mild redness and swelling may occur, but you can go back to normal everyday activity straight after the treatment.

Lip liner - makes the lips seem fuller, giving them definition and colour
Eyebrows - semi-permanent make-up can thicken, redefine or lengthen the look of the eyebrows
Eyeliner - gives a subtle lash enhancement or a definite line, making your eyes look bigger and wider

After semi-permanent treatment it's important not to touch or pick the treated area, as even clean hands can cause infection by introducing dirt and germs on the skin which might create scar tissue, and picking the scabs can take away the colour from the treated area, leaving a patchy final result. Any patchy areas can easily be corrected at a later appointment, however, if the scab gets picked and comes off too soon it will expose the skin and infection can occur. It's also advisable to keep the area completely dry for a couple of days after your treatment.
